Arelius, or Mavi walked through the tall grass, barely being able to see over it. It constantly tickled his nose and made him sneeze every now and then. He sneezed again and rubbed his nose, then climbed into a near by tree, taking in the view of the area. He was happy to be out of the grass that was for sure. He placed a paw on the bark of the tree and sniffed the air.
"Wow, it doesn't make me sneeze up here." He chuckled to himself. He had heard that Pokemon get kidnapped around here by something that started with "bi". He didn't listen, he could take em! He hoped...
He stayed up in the tree and closed his eyes after laying down and getting comfy on a branch, dozing in and out.
"I really shouldn't be sleeping...I should find some food..." he mumbled to himself, looking up in the tree's higher branches to see some berries. He immediately crawled up the branches and grabbed some berried, loosing his footing in the process and fell to the ground. A loud thud followed as he landed, making him groan in pain as he rolled over onto his stomach and getting on one knee, making himself stand a little unsteadily.
"Ow, ow, ow...not the best idea...but at least now I have some berries." He sighed, picking up the food and ate it sitting down, leaning against the bark of the tree.

A soft thud on the ground and a voice complaining managed to awaken Brianna. With a yawn, she uncurled herself and stood up, stretching all of her limbs. The Umbreon arched her black back up, letting the stretching carry straight down it as she slowly straightened it, from the shoulders down. Then she shook her head, as if shaking off the sleepiness of the nap - it had been yet another, lovely and peaceful dream.
With a warming smile, she looked from the left to the right, trying to figure out what had happened. It didn't take her long for her eyes to land on a Pokemon - a Riolu near a totally different tree. She wasn't awake to have seen him drop and she was mildly curious as to what was going on. Her tail twitched back and forth as she considered heading over there to talk to the little guy.
Chances are... She said, in an attempt to keep her laziness in one exact place, he's annoying and super talkative. It was a good reason though - it could solidify and hold her in place. She tapped her claws on the ground in mild consideration. If she walked over there she could see if he was alright - then again, she couldn't really pretend like she cared about it. She sighed, shaking her head for a moment. It'll happen eventually...but I'll nap first. She settled back onto the ground.
Now...if he wouldn't ruin her sleep...

Once he finished the berries he saw a Pokemon stretching, looking this way and that way, then curl back and seeming to be taking another nap.
"Huh..." he muttered to himself. "Maybe I should go apologize...I did make a ruckus. Nah, when she wakes up I will. I don't want to make any enemies right off the bat."
He smiled to himself and climbed back in the tree, thinking, "I know, I'll give the Pokemon some berries to apologize. If she doesn't wake up, I'll go train in the woods somewhere." He reached the top of the tree, and being much more careful, he picked the berries then crawled back down.
He quietly trotted over to the Pokemon and saw the blue circles. "An Umbreon! A shiny one! I've never seen one that papa wasn't fighting in a battle with another Human and Human Riley."[/i] He thought. Shaking off his shock he placed the berries on some leaves, and if the Pokemon didn't wake up, he would sneak off into the woods so he could practice his aim.
Hopefully once he got there he wouldn't wake up the Umbreon, he didn't want any trouble...yet...

As she curled up she couldn't help but notice the Riolu shooting it's way back up the tree. She started to figure it out - she had often seen Pachirisu falling on their tails in the early morning hours, racing each other through the branches or just generally being silly. Seeing a Riolu acting so strangely, like a tree could be anything other than a simple tree, drew a curious thought to her mind.
But she pushed it away. Instead, she pulled her legs into a cute curl and placed her head atop them, smiling contently. Slowly, her eyes closed - she would drift off into a peaceful slumber. A soft sigh slipped out of her lips as she prepared to dose off to sleep. Perhaps today would be a good day - it certainly didn't seem like the Riolu had noticed her at all....
But something told her to open her eyes after just a few minutes. She wanted to push the thought away, but it was scratching at her just under the skin. The notion seemed to irk her and she wanted to snap her teeth into something - there was nothing around to snap her teeth into, because of this one feeling. She opened them to notice the Riolu quietly placing the berries upon a larger leaf that littered the floor.
Slowly to pushed herself back up, pulling both of her eyes open. "There's no need for that..." She said, turning to point her nose to the berries. They were a thoughtful gift and she wasn't sure why he was doing it but she felt awkward being put into this kind of predicament. She didn't like feeling awkward - it made her distort her words. That was never fun.

Mavi jumped back when the Pokemon spoke, so he wasn't that quite, huh? He rubbed the back of his head and bowed several times to apologize.
"I'm sorry, Miss," He said. "I noticed I woke you up when I fell so I decided to apologize, but didn't want to wake you again."
he gave a nervous chuckle and smiled, hoping it didn't seem awkward. he was new to the region and didn't know how they did things here, usually back in Sinoh you would either apologize to their face or give them a gift as a form of apology if you offended or bothered someone.
He gave a silent sigh on the inside. "Father and Human Riley would never have had a problem like this..." He thought, his nervous smile still staying on the outside but he was kicking and screaming like a little kid on the inside.

She let out a huge yawn before she could reply. She couldn't help it - it captured her mouth and made her stretch her mouth around the edges as she yawned. Yet, even though the yawn had been pretty big, it was still soundless - a curious wonderment in itself. She shook her head, shaking away what was left of the 'sleepies' that might have tried clinging around and trying to awaken herself fully as she listened to him.
Then she smiled a little and only shook her head more firmly. "No no.." She said, pushing the berry back towards him. Man how she missed a good, decent BURGER! She didn't want it though - she would just go hunting on her own. Everything always tasted better, anyways, when you worked hard at it, striving to achieve the most of it. She smiled though and stood up, bowing her head towards the Riolu, seeing as how he wasn't that bad of a Pokemon.
Besides, she didn't want to be wasting the day here all along. One more yawn crawled forth out of her mouth, but she managed to shake that loose as well. Looking left, then looking right, she noted that there weren't really any others around, either. She then leaned her head down, looking at the path for a minute, before looking up. What was going on? "I'm Breanna." She told him, greeting the little Riolu.

Mavi rubbed the back of his head and wrapped the berries up in the leaf and put it on his back. He saw her yawn without making a noise which was.....awesome but weird at the same time, but he wouldn't say it.
Once the Umbreon said her name he locked it to memory.
"Hello, Miss Breanna. I'm Arelius, or Mavi most people call me." He said standing up and bowing, putting his hand over the middle of his chest like his father and Human Riley used to do. They told him it was the proper way to say hello to anyone, especially women and children, also elders...even those that insult you.
He looked around as well and his ears dropped.
"It sure is ghostly here..." He mumbled quietly to himself.

These two were this morning's show. He had seen better, but he had seen much worse. As far as things went, at least these two weren't utterly boring like that snorlax he'd come across the other day. All it thought about was food, even when it slept!
Abra gazed from its chosen tree-branch perch and watched the umbreon Breanna, and the rioulu Mavi interact. He couldn't read the umbreon's thoughts, and nor did he care to. He wasn't especially fond of dark-types like her. But the rioulu was a hoot.
Never before had he seen a pokemon that seemed so inwardly insecure of itself. Still, it persisted with its actions and acted to the best of its ability accordingly. It seemed to think it might be making a fool of itself, though outwardly it showed no sign of looking foolish. What a mixed up muddle of thoughts and feelings. Abra wondered if it always acted in such a fashion. Maybe this would be today's fun.
Abra stretched as it floated down from its tree, dipping behind the taller grass and watching the scene as much with its mind as with its poor eyes.
What would the little puppy do next? He waited in curiosity.

Mavi's training kicked in. He glanced up and around.
Enemy or friend close by...feel their aura like father and Human Riley showed you. He said, closing his eyes and trying to sense aura. he found the Umbreon's and his own, but he got a glimmer of another in the grass, then the aura sent him flying back.
"Ow, ow, ow..." He muttered, standing up and walking back over to his old position and looked at the grass.
"Um, hello? Are you a friend or a foe?"

[Sorry for the wait. ^^']
The Umbreon watched the little Riolu curiously for a moment. It seemed...well, could she call it shy? She understood the feelings though, as she had felt that way when she had just started out with her Trainer. A soft, sad look darted across her eyes as she thought about him - lost out there, probably, without her....
She had kept him straight and safe through the nights. In fact, it was thanks to her, that he even made it all the way to the League. Well...technically, they were one badge shy when she was with him, needing only to defeat Draigon and his merry band of Pokemon before they could claim the coveted 8th GYM Badge. However, in her mind they had worked pretty hard as it were, just to get that far.
Her ears folded down at her side as she tried to push the thoughts away. Deflated, they fell down and drooped around her face. She didn't like to think of her owner - or more specifically, of how she had been looted from her Trainer's care and stolen away. Sure, she had escaped them as well, but where did that get her? She was still no closer to being reunited with her Trainer now then she had been with the villains.
She looked up when Arelius called the place "ghostly". She almost laugh, but bit back the chuckles instead to stuff deep, down her throat. "Ahh, naw." She admitted, smiling warmly at the little blue, bipedal dog before her. Well, sort-of like a dog at least. "A cemetery is more ghostly." But then again, wild Pokemon didn't know what a cemetery was. At least, most of them didn't.
However, she had been owned...then something seemed to join the group. She didn't notice it right away, but instead noticed when Mavi started acting strangely. She almost spoke up, but she she opened her mouth, he already began to shout out in pain. She hopped up, her fur bristling, and she looked around with narrowed eyes - already picturing a tough battle scene ahead of her. "Who's there?! Show yourself!"

Oh boy, the jig was up. Who would have thought that the little blue thing would have detected him so readily? May as well step out, or, float.
Abra drifted out from the brush in mid air, floating on what may have appeared as an invisible flying carpet. He shivered as he moved into view of the dark-type. Not only did it creep him out, but it had a voice of authority as well- a voice that chilled him to the bone when it first called him out.
The two pokemon looked on edge. Interesting. He peeked into the blue one's mind just a little- not to be intrusive as much as he simply couldn't help it.
"Aaauhm, hhhie it croaked out, offering a lazy wave. It was not accustomed to using its real voice, though some part of it wanted to make a good impression. It had been a while before he had partaken in any true interaction with another being, let alone two.

Mavi relaxed considerable.
"Hello, Mr. Abra." He said, putting his paw over his heart like his father and Human Riley did and bowed. "I'm Arelius, or as many call me Mavi." He stood straight again and readjusted his green scarf and smiled.

"Mm-M-Mmmaa-vvvvee" the abra choked out. Mavi it spoke with its mind, giving up physical speech. "I'm abra" it thought verbally, tipping its head with a childish smile.
