Hi! I was getting into a potential fight-situation, so I was reading and trying to brush up on it, but i'm confused T_T.
Do fights here use dice and damage and such? Or is all just entirely RP based?
And how do I pick what level your pokemon is?
And where do I list the moves it knows?

Alright Good Questions!!
Let's first start with our battle system: It's RP based so you guys work it out amongst yourselves when battling -- for example if you were an ice pokemon hit with several fire attacks you'd faint -- obviously. Here on Mochia you guys decide your fate -- except obviously you don't die because this is a kids site as well >___> So to answer your question: No there is no dice damage just like there is no hp damage -- because obviously wild pokemon wouldn't fight until they fainted because they'd need to be able to survive so most would run off right before they fainted to get back to their nests, burrows, caves, etc. Again it's completely up to you guys since we trust you wont make some all powerful god pokemon. If your pokemon is weak against fire it'd take half the time it usually does to collapse.
Onto the Levels! So wild pokemon wouldn't keep track of their levels -- not really that's mostly a trainer thing. For example the Ponyta doesn't care if it'd be level 20 facing against a level 5 Vaporeon -- it's just going to fight. So what we ask is you realistacly think about your pokemon -- you don't need to specify what level they are and just play them as if they are the exact same level. The only time levels will MATTER is when you're switching them over to Pokemonsters Live but we can detail that in your transfer threads later on xD For now I'll put it simply: What ever route your Trainer is on when you transfer over the pokemon will be somewhere in that level. Also Important Note: If you're playing a baby pokemon you'd obviously be pretty weak. Likewise if you're playing an evolved pokemon they'd probably be stronger.
Ok to the last part the moves. Soooo we totally forgot about these when making the app (sorry guys) and well I apologize for that since I'm the one who wrote it up >__> BUT we're about to send out a message: We need you to pick four REASONABLE moves for your pokemon -- For example My Eevee could know Bite, Quick attack, Sand-Attack, and Helping Hand. See there are two offensive moves and two defensive (sort of ) moves -- this is not required but it's sort of like an example. If you want your pokemon to know four attack moves go ahead but they have to be near or below each other. Like Bite is learned at 29 and all the others are learned before it.
OH and you place them on your APP -- if you do this now I'll go ahead and scan through to make sure they make sense -- wont take me but a minute ^-^
Does that make sense and answer all your questions?
